Seen and Unseen: Privacy

Today’s lecture is given by Sr. Dr. Illias on “Seen and Unseen Privacy”. First of all, the talk was about a poor and a rich little boy who have been selected by USM. Although they come from different background but both of them have the same dreams. Their family put a lot of hopes on them. However, both of them forget about their very first dreams. They have been influenced by the trend and culture. Both of the little boys changed totally compare to the year before. From this lesson, I have learned that we should insist on our earliest dreams and not easily influenced by others. Furthermore, we should also think before we act so that we will not regret in our life. We should not forget our earliest dreams and shall complete it. Last but not least, Dr. Illias told us to analyse our strength, weaknesses and opportunities all the time so that we can improve ourselves. By the time, only we can compete with others in this new era.

Existence

" Cogito, ergo sum " in Latin word
" Je pense, donc je suis " in French word.
First of all, what are their meaning? Both of the sentences mean "I think, therefore I am" in English.
Why do we exist? What is the rules of existence?
We can see from the quotation of he book:
1. " 我创造精灵和人类,只为要他们崇拜我."
" And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve me."
" Dan Aku tidak menciptakan jin dan manusia melainkan supaya mereka mengabdikan diri kepadaku."

2. "你们当遵循从你们的主降示的经典, 你们不要捨真主而顺从许多保佑者.你们很少觉悟. "
" Follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow guardians besides Him, how little do you mind. "

3. o一七 我确已使<<古兰经>>易于记诵, 有接受劝告的人吗?
54:17 And We have indeed made the Quran easy to understand, but is there anyone who will mind?
54:17 Dan sesungguhnya telah Kami mudahkan Al-Quran untuk pelajaran, maka adakah orang yang mengambil pelajaran.

4. 14:24 Have you not considered how Allah sets forth a parable of a good word(being) like a good tree, whose root is firm and whose
branches are in heaven.

In nutshell, light can be so many things. Light is a key point for an architect.
Therefore, what is good word? Is structure a good word?
In real fact, structure, environment and design are actually good word.
Light must always come in the right proportion, not too little or too much. We must remember that a beauty must be calculable and mathematics is important.
